What You’ll Need
- A square piece of paper (6x6 inches is a good size)
- Scissors (optional, if you need to trim your paper to a square)
- Pens, markers, or crayons for decorating
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Fold in Half: Start by folding the square paper in half, making a triangle. Unfold and repeat in the other direction to create a cross.
- Fold to the Center: Fold each corner of the square into the center, creating a smaller square. Ensure the points meet neatly in the middle.
- Flip It Over: Turn the folded square over to the other side.
- Fold Again: Fold each corner of this side into the center, just like you did before. You should now have an even smaller square.
- Create the Pockets: Fold the square in half one way, and then unfold. Repeat in the other direction. This will loosen the paper and create the pockets you’ll use to manipulate the fortune teller.
- Insert Fingers: Slide your thumbs and index fingers under the four flaps. Gently push the corners together to form the fortune teller shape.

Write Numbers and Colors
- Outside Flaps: On the outside flaps, write different colors or numbers. These are the options players will choose from.
- Inside Flaps: Lift each flap and write numbers on the inside. These numbers correspond to different fortunes.

How to Play
